The handle screws into the base plate, and it is difficult to obtain a tight fit. The handle is not quite tall enough for anything other than a small hand with all the containers, nor does it feel like it will support the weight - especially when full...Overall with shipping, it is a poor value for the money, and I definitely would not recommend this product to anyone else.
