(More customer reviews)If you want frothy milk, this little gadget does (sort of) work. However, unlike other frothers I've used, there is not a switch to turn the frother on. Instead, there is a button that must be firmly depressed the entire time you want to run it. A button requiring lighter pressure would have been easier to use if no switch was available.
Also, not sure if I got the final version or not, but on mine the beaker is not glass as advertised, but plastic, with a "7" inside the recycle triangle on the bottom. This is not good with warm milk.
If you are looking for a serious frother, buy the Nespresso 3192US Aeroccino Plus instead. I've used it for 3 years and it keeps on ticking making perfect hot or cold frothed (or just hot not-frothed) milk in a minute flat (or less). It also works well with 2% and whole milk. If you don't want to spend that much, just use your blender or get a little battery operated whisk (they run a couple bucks at any discount store) and remember to use skim or lowfat milk for the best froth when using one of these options. I would have to recommend passing on this flashy little guy.
