(More customer reviews)This is a great whipper. I've never owned an iSi so I can't make a direct comparison, but I don't really see how it would do much better than this one unless EVERYTHING were made of metal.
The canister is thick aluminum, so I am confident that it will serve its purpose for some time. The interior is lined as well.
Here are some things to keep in mind specific to the 1L size, as well as whippers in general. This is my first whipper, so this stuff would've been helpful to me to know ahead of time.
-1L is a LOT of volume. Make sure you need one that's this big. In hindsight, I would've preferred a smaller one I think. But that's my fault, not the product's.
-The 1L can -- when filled to capacity -- requires two chargers.
-Make sure that your cream is thoroughly chilled and you shake it well to get the best whipped cream.
In all, I'm incredibly happy with this. It seems pretty heavy-duty and makes easy, cheap, great tasting whipped cream (among other things). If you're in the market, it's a great buy.
